We have reached the end of the WEB class. Is everyone ready for Spring Break! Tell us about the class. What did you like the most about the class? What would you have us do differently? What was the most important thing that you learned from the class? Do you think the class was beneficial?

The Class Was Very Beneficial , I Liked Mostly Playing The StockMarket Game , Because It Teaches Us How To Manage Money . Maybe The Only Thing To Do Different , Is To Let Us Have Talk Time Until 12:15 .

My favorite part of Web Class was when Dave and Alec came to visit us(: The only thing I could differently is have Dave and Alec come more often, because that was a really cool experience. The most important thing i learned from Web Class was opportunity cost, it could really help out while debating with a parent:P The class was totally beneficial, it helped me understand economics more.
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm ready for spring break. Class has been kind of fun. There have been boring days but I enjoyed the class and learned a lot. The best part was the auction. If you want more participation, then have more incentives is my only advice. I look forward to seeing everyone on the trip which is also my birthday. Just thought I'd share that.

DeleteI liked the activities we had and the things I learned.I,also,like that we get our own email address for school.I would like that we don't just talk by skype and that we could do more activities than just listening to someone talk.I think the class was beneficial because I learned some stuff that might help me in the future.
ReplyDeleteYes, Im ready for spring break ! WEB class was an "okay " experience . It taught me a lot about economics . It taught me about oppurtunity cost , demand shifts & curves , and many more things. If I would've had you do something differently it would be the blog postings. I would rather have disscussed it with the class aloud . The most important thing I've learned frolm this class is that nothing is free . Financial or not . You'll always be paying for something . The class was sort of beneficial .
ReplyDeleteI really liked being in WEB class it was really fun. I liked having a laptop of my own for my own uses. I also loved the stock market game it was really fun and a big challenge. I wouldn't change anything about WEB class, it was perfect the way it was. I think the most important thing i had learned was knowing how to defeat the buyer or seller for when you sell or buy something. Having a price where you can get a profit and buying something with a low price so u have money left over. WEB class was very beneficial. We learned things others didn't and we learned things that can help us prevent or get over everyday life economical problems.

ReplyDeleteThis web class was beneficial. I kinda like playing the stock market game even though I came in second place. I know how to manage my money differently, other than i used to. I like incentives because you can get a reward for something you can do already. What you couldve done differently is to put people in groups that they have more in common with so they help, if you need it.

DeleteYes, im ready for spring break. I think this web class has taught me more than I thought it was going to learn. Economics play a huge role in our world. I thing i like most about web class was when Alic and gave Dave came in person. That made me understand better. The most importanting thing ive learned about was the demand curve of things . what shifts in and what shifts out. Yes i think web class was beneficial because you got to experience a new topic, and this was a very good thing because economics basically makes the world go around ;) .

DeleteI LIKED WHEN I GOT 5 DOLLARS AT THE FIRST CLASS. THE STOCK MARKET GAME WAS ALSO FUN MOSTLY BECAUSE WE WON BUT I WOULD STILL LIKE A PRICE FOR THAT BUT YOU CAN DO THAT NEXT YEAR. I THINK THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I LARNED WAS THE SALARYS FOR THE DROPOUTS AND GRADS. I THINK IT WAS BENIFENTIAL BECAUSE YOU NEED TO KNOW STOCKS WHEN YOU GROW UP.
ReplyDeletewell i loved this class one reason is because i get to miss math class. i cant pick a favorite lesson liked them all. i dont think there was anything we could have changed. if this program continues next year the students will be very thrilled
ReplyDeletei am very ready to go on spring break to get a break from all these teachers!!!! :D I think that web class was very beneficial because it helped me learn more about the stock market. My favorite part of web class was learning new things meeting new people and just working together being together as a big family.
ReplyDeleteThe thing I liked most about the class was the level of maturity the class made me feel. It made me feel like I was doing real jobs that other people do. The thing I think you guys should do differently is the amount of days in each session. I think that you should make the class three hours long instead of 2 but cut the amount of days of W.E.B Class down. Overall I think the whole class is beneficial. The most important thing I learned in WEB Class was the Law of Demand.

I think you should have less skype lessons and they should come over here more. But yeah i learned a lot about ecomnomics,
ReplyDeleteYes, I think the class was beneficial. I learned things that I never thought about before. I never paid much attention to economics and I knew near nothing about the subject before WEB class. My favorite part about the class was skype because David and Alec made things easy to understand. Something they could change is having to do homework, because our other teachers give us a lot as it is. &&&& of coarse I'm ready for spring break...... I'm already ready for summer break lbvs

Yea budster I am ready for spring break! The part that I enjoyed about this is that I met new people. Something else I liked is about web class is that having my own laptop even though i don't get to take it home. Something that i didn't like is that I had to leave school during school hours, having to write out an essay, and take a exam (final test). Something that I learned about web class is that there are diffrent ways to invest money.
ReplyDeleteWeb class was at least beneficial to because I learned things that a usual child like me would even think about. I like being in web class .its better than I expected.
